I love how everyone there knows each other. Even if your someone like me just visiting they make you feel so at home. Nice breakfast every morning. Good coffee. Nice pool on top of a nice beach area! Nice combination of trees for shade and open space. Super kid friendly. And really cheap for such a great area. Plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the site. Would definitely stay again, would even bring some family or friends!

I can tell you that the owner bill Lester is the most Arrogant and rudest person I have ever met I do not recommend staying here they treat people like garbage. Me in my husband rented a house from him for 5 years and tragically the house caught fire due to faulty electric and we lost everything we owned including pets cars boat and Harley we walked away with the clothes on our back a few years later after we've recovered and build our life up we decided that we wanted to buy a lot in this camp ground and we were told that we are garbage my husband is a son of a b**** Who will never be in that park because we didn't pay the last month's rent on the house that we lived in after it burnt down and we lost everything he told my husband that we ruined his weekend by calling him and asking why we were turned down for the property He called my husband a few more different words that I do not choose to write on here Because they were some pretty bad cuss words. His wife actually sent us a gift card after the fire and said hope this helps get your family back together so obviously him and his wife are 2 different people I have never been treated so badly in my life and I have never saw someone so greedy and cold hearted that they would expect someone to pay rent after they just lost everything in a fire That was not their fault in their home that we were renting for 5 years. I do not recommend no one doing business with Lester brothers I have also been told that they screw people over and they are crooked and by the way that we were treated today I can see why I have heard that I swear to the Lord that this statement is true I am a Christian woman and I Believe you treat others how you want to be treated and that when it comes time to see the Lord I know where me and my family will be going I'm not sure if I can say the same for him .. This is also my rights to say how I have been treated It's the freedom of speech act and everybody should know how this man treated my husband today.

Best camping place ever. Lots to do and tons of fun

On Friday september 6th, I rode into Munith michigan around dinner time, and called for a campground to stay for the night before dark. I reached the Campground "Robinhood of Sherwoodforest " 7945 Dunn Rd, munith MI. 49259. I talked to a woman who said they had available sites, and I said I was 4 miles away on a bicycle and I'll be there after I ate something at the local pizza place. When I get there I am greeted warmly by michelle who had taken my call, I filled out my information and paid the $5 camping fee. Michelle with the cool Egyptian tattoos was nice enough to offer me even a empty campfire circle so if I was cold I could warm up by a fire and she showed me where I could plug in phone and bike light for charging, great hospitality. So I'm setting up my camping hammock using my bike light and she comes over and says the owner doesn't want camping hammocks on the property, then the owner drives up to me on a lawnmower and tell me to leave, he doesn't allow camping hammocks. I explain I had just rode 59 miles, and called ahead and it was now dark and I didn't feel safe riding the hilly country roads in the dark. He said he didn't care, no hammocks, he got belligerent and said he would call the cops. Michelle looked sad as she gave me my $5 back and I had to ride off in the dark to find a place to sleep after 9:30 at night. At this point I wasn't sure how much battery power my bike light had because I used it to set up and take down campsite. I was forced to sleep along the road in some woods.

I love this place! Best campground I've ever been to. Great people and so much fun!
